Morning Practice

In 2016 I wanted to break the unconscious habit of looking at a screen first thing in the morning and starting my morning in a state of reactive droning. Enter MORNING PRACTICE.

I converted a corner of my sewing studio into a paper-lover’s workspace and practiced among other things: brush lettering; stamp carving; painting 3x5” cards with color; animation; and time-lapse videography on a micro-scale.
